Antarctica, which has remained untouched by the Coronavirus pandemic that has affected the whole world and put a halt on all lives. Earlier this week when Chile’s military has informed us that the armed forces and health workers in Antarctica have been infected. As many as 36 people are positive for COVID-19 in the Bernardo O’Higgins base among which 26 are army men and 10 are workers conducting maintenance operations at the base. All the infected people have been isolated are are under constant monitoring by the authorities.
