Antonio Conte, who led Inter Milan to their first Serie A title in 11 years is having a hard time at Inter Milan due to a dispute with the club owner regarding some financial decisions.
Chairman Stevan Zhang has asked Conte to cut his wages by 15-20 per cent and sell some key players of the team to get somewhere around £70 million this summer. Conte is keen on keeping up to eight players that he sees as untouchables that include Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez, Milan Skriniar. All of them have been an integral part of Inter Milan’s success this season that saw them beat city rivals, AC Milan, Juventus, Atalanta in the title race and create history after more than ten years. But the club is trying to sell one of the star player’s to generate funds and focus more on the youth talent from their academies and all over Europe.
Conte’s contract runs until the end of the 2021/22 season but he is getting linked to taking over Real Madrid after Zinedine Zidane’s uncertain future attention at the Spanish capital.
Former Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri is said to take over Conte in case he leaves Inter Milan, he was also being linked to Real Madrid and Juventus whose chances are very slim seeing the situation in Milan.
