Actor Anupam Kher recently shared an update from his travel schedule after his Indigo flight from Varanasi to Khajuraho was cancelled, calling the situation frustrating but manageable. The actor was travelling to attend the Khajuraho International Film Festival, where his film Tanvi the Great is scheduled to open the event.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Anupam posted a video explaining the circumstances. He revealed that he had flown from Hyderabad to Varanasi and was supposed to take a connecting flight to Khajuraho. However, the onward flight was cancelled, leaving him with no immediate alternative by air.
In the video, Anupam clarified that he usually avoids complaining and believes that such issues are rarely intentional. While expressing his disappointment, he maintained a composed tone, stating that frustration is natural but should be handled sensibly. He pointed out that no other flights were available and that his film’s screening was scheduled for Tuesday.
Instead of reacting with anger, Anupam spoke about finding practical solutions. He shared that he planned to step out in Varanasi, enjoy a good meal and take some time to relax. According to the actor, food has a way of improving one’s mood during stressful moments.
He further mentioned that reaching Khajuraho was still possible through other means. The actor said he could travel by train or even by road if required, adding that flexibility is important when facing unexpected problems.
Anupam’s calm response and practical outlook were widely appreciated, reflecting his belief that challenges should be met with patience and alternative planning rather than complaint.
