Apollo Hospital plans to make 3D printing labs

Apollo Hospital has announced that they will make 3D printing labs in partnership with Anatomiz3D Medtech Pvt Ltd in many Apollo hospitals across India.

The first lab is being planned at Apollo Health City in Hyderabad. The Chairman of Apollo Hospitals Group Pratap C Reddy said at a virtual press meet, “We are proud to once again be the pioneers in bringing the latest in medical technology to benefit our patients. It will not be wrong to say that with the Hospital 3D-printing labs, the future is here.”

The 47 locations of the hospital where orthopaedic surgery is conducted will have the 3D-printing facility. “Our strategic collaborations with Apollo Hospitals, a progressive organisation and one of the pioneers in adopting new technologies early on that are beneficial to its patients, is a strong step towards such large scale translations”, Firoza Kothari, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Anatomize3D said.
