Apollo Hospitals has expanded its Western India presence with the launch of a new 400-bed quaternary care hospital in Swargate, Pune, beginning operations with an initial 250 beds. The centre integrates robotics, precision medicine and digital health infrastructure under one campus.
Chairman Dr. Prathap C Reddy said the hospital supports India’s ambition to become a global healthcare destination. Executives Dr. Preetha Reddy and Dr. Suneeta Reddy said the facility strengthens Apollo’s commitment to accessibility, quality and future-ready care networks.
Equipped with Da Vinci Xi and Mako robotic systems, modular OTs, precision oncology units, advanced cardiovascular and transplant divisions, digital PET-CT and LINAC, the hospital aims to elevate regional clinical standards. More than 100 critical care beds, Level III neonatal and pediatric ICUs, and connected telemedicine and IoT platforms will enable continuous patient monitoring and seamless transitions of care.
The facility also features specialist programs in cardiac sciences, orthopaedics, critical care and mother-and-child health, supported by a multidisciplinary clinical team and evidence-based protocols.
