Apple is expected to unveil its primary iPhone 16 series at its Cupertino headquarters during the coming months. Furthermore, recent indications indicate that the four iPhone models won’t be the sole hardware products released by Apple next month.
As per Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple plans to launch two new AirPods 4 models at the same event. For instance, the AirPods second version was released in 2019 and lacks the capabilities that are often included in a current set of headphones. The official Apple website lists the current pricing as ₹12,900. Meanwhile, the third version of AirPods included several new technologies such as Spatial Audio and case charging. The official Apple website lists their pricing as ₹20,900.
According to sources, the two AirPods 4 versions will feature identical design components and will replace the AirPods 2 and AirPods 3, respectively. The main distinction between the entry-level and mid-level AirPods 4 is the existence of active noise cancellation; the mid-range model has ANC, whilst the entry-level does not.
Nonetheless, Gurman believes that the AirPods 4 models will be distinct from the AirPods Pro 3, which will receive an update later this year. Gurman has not given a clear idea about the price of the new AirPods 4 version.
