Amy Schumer and The View co-host Ana Navarro had a surprising family revelation during Schumer’s appearance on the show—turns out, they’re cousins!
Navarro shared that she discovered their connection seven years ago through the PBS series Finding Your Roots, hosted by Henry Louis Gates Jr. Schumer had also been featured on the show, and their ancestry research revealed a common lineage.
Excitedly, Schumer embraced Navarro, exclaiming, “Cousin! Cousin!” while Navarro playfully questioned how a Schumer might have ended up in Nicaragua. Schumer admitted she had no idea but was “honored” by the discovery.
Navarro humorously warned Schumer that spending more time together might “ruin your reputation,” to which the comedian replied she was willing to take the risk. The two continued their lighthearted banter, with Navarro joking, “Maybe ICE won’t take me if I’m hanging out with a blonde like you.”
