According to the 2018 report on ‘Vital statistics of India based on civil registration system’, the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh has recorded the best sex ratio in our country with 1084 females born per thousand males. It is followed by Nagaland (965), Mizoram(969), Kerala(963) and Karna Karnataka(957) while Manipur has the worst sex ratio in the country.
