Filmmaker Atlee has offered a glimpse into the scale and ambition of his upcoming Telugu-language project AA22xA6, describing it as one of his most demanding yet exciting ventures. In a recent interaction, the director revealed that the team is working through sleepless nights as they shape what he promises will be a major cinematic experience.
Speaking to India Today, Atlee expressed his eagerness to share more about the film but said the creative process is still unfolding. According to him, new ideas are emerging daily, and the excitement within the team mirrors the curiosity of audiences waiting for updates. He assured viewers that the effort going into the film will translate into maximum entertainment once it reaches the screen.
Atlee also spoke warmly about reuniting with Deepika Padukone, whom he referred to as his “lucky charm.” The actor and director previously collaborated on Jawan, and AA22xA6 marks their second project together. Atlee praised Deepika’s dedication and screen presence, adding that audiences will see a different side of her in this film, which also marks one of her first projects after embracing motherhood.
Deepika had joined the project last year after stepping away from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. Her casting was officially announced by Sun Pictures through a special video featuring a conversation between her and Atlee, positioning her as a key face of the film. The project will also reunite Atlee with Allu Arjun, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film. AA22xA6 will be Deepika Padukone’s second Telugu pan-India film after Kalki 2898 AD.
