Bollywood is back on track, making business with a number of lined up movies to be released in 2021. Out of which ‘Atrangi Re’ starring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan is finally all set to be released on the big screen on 6 August, 2021. The film was to be released on March 2020 but didn’t make it because of the pandemic and hence the dates were further postponded. It was also known to release on 14 Feb, 2021 but couldn’t due to some reasons.
The announcement of the flims official page read, “#AtrangiRe to hit cinemas on 6th August 2021. The AR Rahman musical, starring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan, directed by Aanand L Rai, written by Himanshu Sharma“.
Sara will be eventually seen in a double role, while Akshay will also feature in an extended cameo in the film .The film has been shot in and around Varanasi, Madurai, Delhi and Agra.
