The Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi has set up four e-gates for immigration on Thursday. This automated immigration gate has been installed to inspect the documents of travellers travelling out of the country without humans being involved. This initiative has been taken to cut down on the immigration time. The process will involve self scanning of passports and documents, finger print scanning and picture being taken. The system is sharp enough to trace and report the database of blacklisted passengers within seconds.
