Avante Spaces Limited, part of the Kirloskar Group, has been awarded the IGBC Platinum Certification for its flagship office project ‘One Avante’ located in Kothrud, Pune.
The certification, the highest level conferred by the India Green Building Council, recognises the project’s sustainable workplace infrastructure and environmentally responsible design. One Avante currently accommodates several Kirloskar Group companies.
The IGBC assessment examined the project across Site Selection and Planning, Water Conservation, Energy Conservation, Material Conservation, Indoor Environmental Quality and Occupational Health, with additional emphasis on Innovation in Design.
Sustainability has been central to the project’s development and operations. One Avante integrates energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems, enhanced daylight access, water-saving technologies and a comprehensive waste management system focused on recycling and efficient resource utilisation. These measures contribute to reduced environmental impact and improved occupant comfort.
Deepak Porayath, Chief Executive Officer, Avante Spaces Limited, said, “The IGBC Platinum certification for One Avante is a defining milestone for Avante Spaces and reflects our belief that sustainability must be embedded into the very DNA of real estate development. From design and construction to daily operations, One Avante has been envisioned as an environmentally responsible workplace. As our first real estate project, this recognition strengthens our resolve to consistently build energy-efficient, future-ready spaces that align with the Kirloskar Group’s values and long-term vision.”
The Platinum rating reinforces Avante Spaces’ commitment to sustainability-first real estate development and provides a reference framework for its future projects.
