James Cameron’s film Avatar: Fire and Ash saw a roughly 65% decline from its third Friday. Monday’s gross of Rs. 1.50 crore increased the film’s third-week total to Rs. 17.50 crore in just four days. It is anticipated to close its third week at about Rs. 21 crore. At the Indian box office, Avatar: Fire and Ash’s running total has now crossed Rs. 206 crore.
The movie is now anticipating its theatrical conclusion soon, which would be significantly lower than what was previously anticipated, due to the big dip on Monday. Though James Cameron’s film has been a hit in India, its box office result pales in comparison to Avatar: The Way of Water. For the record, the last Avatar picture grossed approximately Rs. 465 crore, which remains the highest collection for a Hollywood film in India.
That could be because the third installment drew mixed reactions from the crowd and critics, limiting its potential. Furthermore, the expectation for Avatar: The Way of Water was palpable, given that it would arrive after about a decade.
