Two incredible achievements are about to make Ayodhya’s Deepotsav celebration a part of the Guinness World Records. A 1,100-person Saryu Aarti and the main lamp-lighting event will be two record attempts at this year’s festival, the first since the Lord Ram Temple was built.
The team has already set out over 25 lakh diyas, with expanded areas like New Ghat, Old Ghat, and Bhajan Sandhya designated for lamp placement. Final findings are anticipated following the lighting on October 30th, and volunteers have been boosted to ensure success.
To supervise Deepotsav preparations, a 30-person team from the Guinness Book of World Records has arrived in Ayodhya. Two world records are scheduled to be attempted during the Deepawali celebrations in Ayodhya, according to a Tuesday announcement from Nischal Barot, the Guinness Book of World Records Team Incharge.
Shashikant Das, the coordinator of Saryu Aarti, stated: “This is the eighth Deepotsav overall, but it is the first following Lord Ram’s coronation in his home. This evening’s lighting of 25 lakh diyas will go down in the Guinness Book of World Records.” On Deepotsav, Lord Ram’s city is lavishly decked. Additionally, more than 200 temples and monasteries will light lamps.
