Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust posted a few images of the temple’s construction in night light on Monday, ahead of the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
The temple trust posted images of the sculpture of Jatayu, a significant character in the Ramayana, which is built on top of Kuber Fort on the temple premises, as well as views of exquisitely carved figures of deities, gods and goddesses that decorate the temple’s pillars and walls at night.

A few weeks ago, Champat Rai, the trust’s general secretary and VHP leader, posted images of the temple’s sanctum-sanctorum. During the consecration ceremony, the idol of Ram Lalla will be set in the sanctum-sanctorum of the newly built Ram temple, which will then be opened to worshipers.
The temple trust often posts images of the present status of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The temple’s construction has been going smoothly under the trust’s supervision.
The Ram Mandir, built in the traditional Nagara style, is a three-story shrine that is 380 feet in length (east-west direction), 250 feet in width and 161 feet in height, as per the trust. It includes 392 pillars and 44 doors. It has five Mandaps (halls) — Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prarthna and Kirtan Mandaps.
