Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana have finally entered Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy world, after giving consecutive hits like Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, and Stree 2
Thama, which stars Ayushmann and Rashmika in the major roles, was announced as Maddock Films’ latest release on Wednesday. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal are also a part of the film. The movie will be released on Diwali in 2025.
The first look teaser for Thama was released by the makers, providing a peek into the “bloody love story.” Munjya star Aditya Satpodar is back in the director’s chair, and producers Vijan and Amar Kaushik also present. Reportedly, it is going to be a compelling love tale with special graphics. Fans’ excitement has increased as the preview also reveals a powerful musical composition.
The announcement video teased, “Dinesh Vijan’s Horror Comedy Universe needed a love story… unfortunately, it’s a bloody one. Brace yourselves for #Thama – Diwali 2025!”
According to earlier sources, Rashmika would portray as Ayushmann’s love interest, and Ayushmann will portray a vampire.
