Baba Ramdev, his brother Ram Bharat and close aide Acharya Balkrishna are appointed on board of the Patanjali Ayurved acquired Ruchi Soya. Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd sought approval from their shareholders to appoint Ram Bharat, 41 as the managing director of the company. Acharya Balkrishna has been appointed as the chairman of the company. Both will be paid Re 1 per annum as salary. Last year Patanjali paid Rs 4350 crore to Ruchi Soya out of which Rs 4235 was paid to creditors and 115 for working capital requirements.
