In a January 13 interview with Rolling Stone, the Puerto Rican artist expressed his admiration for Sandler, referring to him as family. When the reporter asked about their connection, Bad Bunny proudly revealed that he had saved Sandler’s contact as “Tío Sandler” in his phone, calling him his “uncle” with a smile. “Pshhh. That’s my uncle. Adam Sandler is my uncle,” he said, emphasizing just how kind and approachable the comedian is.
Bad Bunny, who released his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos on January 5, worked on Happy Gilmore 2 right after filming Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing. He noted that the two projects were worlds apart but thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of working in such different genres. The musician hinted that his future might include more acting, saying, “I’m always going to make music, but I’d spend some time just making films and dedicating myself to acting.” He teased that once the two films are released, audiences will see a whole new side of him, with “two different movies, two different parts, two different people.”
