The Kingdom of Bahrain on Friday announced emergency use authorisation for the American- German vaccine Pfizer. Bahrain was unclear about the number of vaccines purchased or the about commencement of the vaccination process. The point of concern remains about storing the vaccines as it requires ultra-cold temperature around 70°C which is difficult in a country like Bahrain with constant hot and humid climate. Bahrain has already approved emergency use authorization of Chinese Sinopharm vaccine which was injected to 6000 Bahraini people.
