Bajaj Auto Ltd has become the 4 automobile company to join the mile-high club on companies having over 1 trillion in market capitalization. The other 3 companies are Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors.
Bajaj’s share reached Rs.3459.90 per share on BSE with a market capitalization of Rs.1.01 trillion. Bajaj has signed a pact with the Maharashtra government to set up a manufacturing plant worth Rs. 650 crore in Chakan and has also been recovering in terms of sales amid the pandemic.
