Akhanda 2, starring Boyapati Srinu and Nandamuri Balakrishna, is scheduled to open in theaters on December 5. Taraka Rama Entertainments, the German distributors, held an auction for the first ticket prior to the movie’s debut. A fan of Indian descent paid an incredible ₹1 lakh for it. In a social media video, the distributors, Taraka Rama Entertainments, explained that they had launched an auction for fans to buy the first tickets in five districts.
Additionally, they asserted that they had purchased the movie’s rights for an unheard sum for a Telugu theater in Germany. Rajasekhar Parnapalli, a fan from Frankfurt, paid an astounding ₹1 lakh for a ticket.
Explaining his love for Balakrishna, the fan said, “No matter which country I am in, I’m a Balayya fan anywhere in the world. I feel like I’m experiencing the flavours of my village and Seema Andhra here. In Anandapuram, I celebrated Balakrishna’s film releases by putting up cutouts and banners. I feel like I am not missing out on anything here, too, now. As a Nandamuri family man, I feel proud to have bought this ticket.”
The 2021 successful movie Akhanda, starring Boyapati and Balakrishna, has a sequel called Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, and Ishan Saksena are producing the fantasy action drama under 14 Reels Plus and IVY Entertainment. Balakrishna portrays twins in the movie, Akhanda, an aghora, and Murali Krishna, a do-gooder, who are split off at birth. Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Harshaali Malhotra also play significant parts in the movie.
At the film’s pre-release ceremony, Balakrishna spoke about how Akhanda revitalized the film business amid a pause brought on by COVID-19, saying, “I am here today because of my father (the late NTR).”
“Cinema has become a necessity in today’s world, and it is the industry’s duty to provide high-quality entertainment. Akhanda relieved the sector during a difficult period brought on by COVID by attracting large crowds of people.” It remains to be seen if the sequel will surpass Akhanda, which made ₹117 crore globally.
