Bank of India vaccinates its employees and their family members

A leading public sector bank, Bank of India completed its three day COVID-19 vaccination drive on Saturday at its head office in Mumbai. The bank desires to execute this vaccination drive across the country. During this three days vaccination, the bank vaccinated around 1,330 employees and their family members. The vaccination drive was carried forward with the support and arrangement made with Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

The initiative was conducted by maintaining safety protocols. The bank in a statement revealed that the entire inoculation drive was conducted in a smooth, organized manner with the coordination from volunteer representatives of human resource department, Bank of India Officer’s Association and the staff union. It further disclosed that the Officer’s Association distributed medical kits to the vaccinated individuals.

Head of HR at Bank of India, A.K. Pathak expressed that the employees have been instrumental to make sure uninterrupted banking experiences for its customers. He further added that the bank is delighted to be able to provide protection to the employees and their family members during the pandemic .

“We witnessed a high football at our vaccination drive in Mumbai and are enthused at the support we received to conducted this activity without any hindrance,” the statement read.

It informed that the Bank of India’s Executive Director PR Rajagopal, HR Ashok Pathak and Nilesh Pawar, general secretary of officer’s association communicated with the vaccination drive attendees.
