Bartholomew Ogbeche is set to sign a contract with Hyderabad FC

One of the ISL top scorer Bartholomew Ogbeche is set to join Hyderabad FC for next season as per the sources. Ogbeche helped Mumbai City FC to lift their first ISL trophy and League Shield. The striker has previously lead the attack of NorthEast United FC and Kerala Blasters FC before signing for MCFC.

Ogbeche is one of the few players who has performed consistently in every season. He has scored more than 8 goals in the three editions which he has played. He has scored 15 goals for KBFC and 12 goals for NEUFC. He netted 8 goals and 3 assists for MCFC, mostly coming as a substitute.

Bartholomew Ogbeche signing for Hyderabad FC will help the team to improve the attacking strength. Aridane Santana was only scoring goals for the club consistently in past seasons. Last season, he was the top scorer for the club which helped Hyderabad FC to finish 5th on the table, despite that they fell few points short to qualify for the playoffs last season.

Hyderabad FC is investing in youngsters and that showed results in last season. Signing some players like Ogbeche will bring experience to the squad.

So far, Hyderabad FC hasn’t made Ogbeche’s acquisition official, although that seems more a case of when, rather than if, at the moment.
