After receiving legal notice from Sakal Times (owned by Sharad Pawar) in June, Newslaundry Co-founder and CEO Abhinandan Sekhri, has now received two legal notices from the Times Group. Times Group is suing Newslaundry for damages worth Rs 100 crore for using Navika Kumar photo in a tweet which accused her of TRP manipulation scam and it also took offense when Newslaundry called Rahul Shivshankar a “karare channe seller”.
In the notice Times Group accuses Newslaundry of using the reputation of its anchors and trying to piggyback on there’s namesake.
