Benchmark indices opened high after a straight three day market close. Sensex was at 47,260 and was up with 286 points or 0.61%. Nifty gained 71 points while being positioned at 13,820. Among sectoral indices, Auto and IT were in focus. Tata Motors, Jindal Steel and Coal India were among the top gainers. Biocon, Vedanta and TCS sided in top losers.
