The singer sold over 1 million tickets for the European leg of her Renaissance World Tour, making it the largest leg of any solo Beyonce tour to date. Furthermore, this leg of her current tour grossed $154.4 million. The Renaissance World Tour arrives in North America on July 8 with a show in Toronto, Canada.
The Grammy Award-winning singer began her tour on May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden. Beyonce earned a lot of money while giving sold-out performances around Europe and delivered dozens of memorable onstage fashion moments.
According to Billboard, the European leg (first nine gigs) of the Renaissance World Tour, which ended just recently in Warsaw, grossed a remarkable $154.4 million and sold one million tickets over 21 shows, as reported by Billboard Boxscore.
It has the highest grossing and attendance figures of any of Beyonce’s previous European tours. She made $87 million on her 2016 The Formation World Tour and $87 million on her 2018 On the Run II Tour (co-headlined with Jay-Z), marking a 77 percent bump on her recent stint, added the report.
As reported by Billboard, Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour’s European leg earned her the top-grossing touring act of May.
According to a previous Business Plus report, the average ticket price for the Renaissance World Tour is around $678.
