Saumya Tandon, who played a charismatic role in the long run daily soap, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai, was recently accused of having used wrongful and fraudulent means of getting the Covid-19 vaccine.

Saumya has taken to her Twitter account to clear the air surrounding these rumours. She has outright denied the accusation of using dubious means to get vaccinated. She tweeted a clarification stating that she did receive the vaccination but only through legitimate means and not in Thane ( as previously suspected) but at a centre close to her house in Mumbai.  She has requested her fans and followers to not fall prey to unverified reports and claims.

Saumya has actively been engaging with tweets from media persons and other individuals giving them clarification and at times much-needed information as in the case of a reply to a journalist presenting a fabricated ID card, she said “It’s not even valid…I hope you know ID cards are always stamped.”

Some of her loyal fans also took to social media to react to all the shame Saumya was subjected to in the past few days. The fans have implored the “Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai” heroine to turn a deaf hear to all the false accusations and simply upload a screenshot of the COWIN App where the appointment details will be clear and thus discharge her of any speculation.
