Kartik Aaryan is back on the big screen with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, as the adored ghost whisperer, accompanied by Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan, as Manjulika. Kartik, along with his co-stars Vidya and Triptii Dimri, as well as director Anees Bazmee, appeared on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show this weekend to promote Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
The episode was highly entertaining. Here, Kartik opens up about terrifying and true ghost encounters. Kapil released the episode’s surplus content in a “Bacha Hua Content” video. Kartik reveals in this video that an assistant from the director’s crew showed them a “Ghost Finder” app on his phone when they were filming in a Kolkata cemetery.
To see whether there were any ghosts nearby, Kartik waved the phone around. It’s interesting that the app found a ghost close to Thomas’s tomb. Kartik’s mark for his subsequent shot was precisely there.
He states, “Toh woh actual mein hua tha uss app mein, lekin maine fir mark modification karaya tha, pata nahi woh mere saath prank khel raha tha ya kya thi. Please, Anees sir, let me know how Thomas is doing in his tomb. Bhej do, Martin ke paas!”
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released on November 1, along with Singham Again. Directed by Anees Bazmee, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and Rajpal Yadav. The film has seen a mix of audience reviews but benefitted from strong advance bookings.
