Big Bang Theory stars Jim Parsons, Mayim Bialik to appear on Young Sheldon finale

In the series finale of CBS’ Young Sheldon, which airs on May 16, Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik, who are well-known for their roles as Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler on The Big Bang Theory, will play their beloved characters once again. For the first time since the Big Bang series ended in May 2019, Parsons and Bialik will be seen together on screen as their respective characters. This reunion is much awaited. Besides portraying Sheldon Cooper, Parsons also serves as Young Sheldon’s narrator and executive producer. Bialik, who has voiced over roles in two episodes,  will make a special appearance in the finale.

Although specifics of their roles are being hidden, fans of the show are likely to find their return to be a momentous occasion.

Young Sheldon is a prequel to The Big Bang Theory that follows Sheldon Cooper, portrayed by Iain Armitage, as he grows up as a young genius. The show has had a great seven-season run.

Bialik recently shared her excitement for the anticipated reunion on her Instagram account, teasing, “Sharing some exciting Big Bang Theory-related news!!!” with an image of a news article revealing that Sheldon and Amy’s story will continue in the Young Sheldon universe.
