Big Bazar aims to open 300 stores in the next three quarters, focus on tier II cities

Operating under Kishore Biyani’s Future Retail, Big Bazar, one the leading hypermarket chain in India is planning to open 16 new stores over the next three quarters. With this the brand targets to reach 300 stores in the country. Currently the venture has 284 operating stores in 100 cities, and plans it’s expansion in small tier II cities of India. The company had last inaugurated its store in Lucknow.
