In an Extra Masala snippet, Rakhi is seen explaining to Rubina and Abhinav, why she can’t light-up gas stove, and also talks about her ‘phobia’.
She says that because of her mistake she lost her grandfather and stated, “Dadaji khana bana rahe thei, toh dal mein chokh lagane gaye, aur maine peeche se unko kheecha, jisse chokh dal mein girne ke jagah gas pe gira aur aag lag gayi, unki body jal gayi.” Recalling the incident she says she wasn’t able to get this out of her mind for years.
