TV star Gaurav Khanna won the title of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19, which concluded on a positive note. Actress and runner-up for the season, Farrhana Bhatt, has now responded to an episode in which she destroyed Neelam Giri’s letter while working on a task. Farrhana was asked if everyone was upset with her for destroying Neelam’s letter during an interview with Farah Khan on the filmmaker’s YouTube channel.
The former Bigg Boss competitor replied, “I was calm. Sab log itna overacting kar rahe the, mujhe maza aa raha tha. Itna achha dikhne ke liye koi aisa kar sakta hai? Woh mujhe trigger nahi kar rahe the kyunki mujhe pata tha ki maine kuch galat nahi kiya.”
For those who don’t know, Bigg Boss contestants had the opportunity to read letters from home during this season. Nevertheless, this was contingent upon the choices made by their fellow residents. One competitor would be guaranteed a spot in the captaincy competition if they choose to destroy another’s letter.
While other housemates gave up their prospects of winning captaincy and let others read their letters, Farrhana made the opposite decision and destroyed Neelam’s letter, leaving the latter in tears despite Bhatt’s pleas. The remaining competitors attacked Farrhana for the manoeuvre after the task was over. Online viewers also criticised her.
On August 24, 2025, Bigg Boss 19 debuted. Housemates created a government, engaged in assembly-style debates, and made important decisions as part of the season’s parliament-style theme. On December 7, 2025, the competition came to an end with Anupamaa star Gaurav Khanna taking home the prize, while Farrhana Bhatt was named first runner-up. Additionally, Khanna was awarded a financial prize of Rs 50 lakh. The program was aired on Colours TV and may still be streamed on JioHotstar.
