Bijou Phillips, Danny Masterson’s spouse, is reportedly “distraught” about her husband’s 30-year prison sentence, though she has “no plans” to divorce him.
A source revealed to People on Wednesday, “She has had a very difficult time since the conviction.” The source added, “She loves Danny and has no plans to file for divorce. She will be by his side for it all.”
The insider stated that the 43-year-old actress is “surrounded by family and friends” and is “hopeful” about a future appeal, despite the fact that she is having a difficult time dealing with the situation.
The former socialite reportedly fears not only about life without the “That ’70s Show” actor but also for his safety.
Last week, a source informed the Daily Mail that Phillips is “very worried” that someone may hurt her husband in prison and that she has been haunted by “scary and morbid” thoughts since his conviction.
“It is a nightmare, but she will be on his side moving forward and continue to be present for their daughter,” the source stated, adding that her “stress” is on a level “that she never has felt before.”
Masterson was found guilty in May of raping two women in 2003. The actor, 47, was charged with drugging his victims before sexually assaulting them during the trial.
