BioNTech: Can develop a vaccination against the new mutant strain in six weeks

The BioNTech co-founder said that they will be able to deliver a vaccination for the new mutant corona virus in six weeks, if needed. He said that it is highly likely to adapt the vaccine and the immune response can deal with they  new mutation. The variant detected in United Kingdom has nine mutations then just one and there vaccine contains 1,000 amino acids and only nine of them have changed so that means 99 percent of the protein is still the same, said Sahin.
