Bira secures funding from Japanese brewery amid growing losses

Bira – an Indian craft beer company launched in 2015 has managed to secure funding worth $30 million from Kirin Holdings – a Japanese beer maker. The Japanese brewery will acquire a stake less than 10% in the B9 beverage company founded by Ankur Jain -a Delhi based entrepreneur. The funding secured will help Bira manage its losses &will help launch new strategies and new products in the market while also helping to break even in 2022 fiscal year.
