Ramdas Athawale, the Chief of Republican Party of India has given their support to BJP for the Lok Sabha elections as well as the Bypolls. Although he RPI hasn’t put forward any candidate for among the two, Satish Korgaonkar who is the RPI President has put forward a statement saying “We will lend our full support to both BJP candidates Narendra Sawaikar and Shripad Naik and also to BJP candidates in Mapusa Mandrem and Shiroda.” With this kind of support, BJP winning the elections is quite likely.
