Border 2 fell to Rs. 25 lakh on its fifth Monday, a 40% decline from Sunday. The cume for the fifth week has touched Rs. 1.65 crore in four days. It is likely to cost roughly Rs 2.50 crore or so. The film starring Sunny Deol has grossed Rs. 304.85 crore nett so far. It will cross the Rs. 305 crore threshold tomorrow and then proceed to its final goal.
Based on current trends and momentum, the military action drama is expected to complete its theatrical run at roughly Rs. 306 crore to Rs. 308 crore nett. This is a positive outcome; nevertheless, trade expectations were considerably higher because the picture was overhyped following the gargutan success of Gadar 2.
Having stated that, Border 2 became the first hit film of 2026 in Hindi cinema. The film performed better in northern circuits, where Rajasthan is closer to BLOCKBUSTER, whilst Delhi-UP and East Punjab did SUPER HIT business.
