This weekend’s movie releases included a few of comedies. However, none of them were able to make an impact on opening day, owing to the lack of stars and minimal crowd buzz. Here’s a look at Rahu Ketu and One Two Cha Cha Chaa’s first day box office performances.
According to estimations, Rahu Ketu launched with a net opening of between Rs. 1 crore and Rs. 1.25 crore in India. The film, starring the Fukrey team, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, appeared to be a timepass entertainer based on its advertising assets. However, these were insufficient to generate any buzz, resulting in a dismal opening day.
The comedic drama, directed by Vipul Vig, will need to exhibit some strong trends in order to make a good total at the end of its theatrical run. Rahu Ketu and One Two Cha Cha Chaa get a one-week free run. They are both anticipated to leave the cinemas once Border 2 takes over the majority of the screens.
