Box Office: Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 inches closer to ₹200 crore mark, ends 3rd week with ₹181 crore

Kantara: Chapter 1’s third Thursday grosses for the third week totals Rs. 3 to 3.25 crore, bringing its net revenue to Rs. 27 crore. The film is showing a solid hold at the box office, as seen by the thirty percent decline from the third Wednesday and the thirteen to fifteen percent dip from the preceding Thursday.

This rise in popularity coincides with the period when Thamma and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat had given the film more exposure. By the end of its third week, Kantara: Chapter 1’s total sum at the Hindi box office was Rs. 181 crore net.

To reach the Rs. 200 crore net threshold going forward, the Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth film requires an additional Rs. 19 crore. Until it experiences an unexpected decline in the days ahead, Kantara: Chapter 1 is expected to surpass the double-century milestone and conclude its theatrical run with a net total of about Rs. 210 crore.

In the Hindi belt, Kantara: Chapter 1 is already a Clean Hit. Some in the profession anticipated it would do similarly to other popular South Indian sequels, such Pushpa 2, KGF Chapter 2, and Baahubali 2. Kantara: Chapter 1 made a good 2.5x of the first movie, but it didn’t happen.
