The Butantan Institute biomedical centre in Brazil will receive first doses of Sinovac, which is China’s vaccine against the Coronavirus this week. Upon study from preliminary trials which were conducted, the vaccine named CoronaVac has excellent proficiency in fighting Coronavirus. The institute expects to have 46 million doses ready by January. Butantan and Anvisa have sent experts to China. They will be quarantined for 2 weeks upon arrival and will later visit vaccine facilities.
