Breaking: Bengaluru woman’s body found in refrigerator; her body was chopped into 30 pieces

On Thursday, a horrifying discovery was made in Vyalikaval, Bengaluru. A woman’s dismembered corpse was found in a refrigerator. The body was discovered by the police.

The body was discovered close to Veerana Bhavan in Malleswara, Bengaluru, according to the police, who provided details about the incident. As per Shekar H. Tekkannavar, Central Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mahalakshmi (29), the victim body was allegedly stuffed inside a refrigerator after being hacked into almost thirty pieces, per the authorities. As senior police officers arrived, they blocked the road that led to the building where the victim was sleeping alone and where the body was discovered in a single bedroom residence.

The incident happened roughly a week ago, and the police believe it to be a murder case. An inquiry has been started by the police after they have filed a case. According to ASCP Satheesh Kumar, the forensic specialists and the dog squad also reached the scene and began their investigations.

Kumar quoted to media, “The dead body has been identified. The probe is going on. We will give more information after the investigation. She was settled in Karnataka but is originally from another state.”

Mahalakshmi lived in Malleswaram and worked at a mall, but her husband worked in a hermitage outside the city. Her spouse arrived at the scene after hearing about the incident.
