Bruce Springsteen recently met the actors portraying him in the upcoming Scott Cooper film Deliver Me from Nowhere. He posed for a photo with Jeremy Allen White and child actor Matthew Anthony Pellicano, who will play different versions of the legendary musician on screen.
The film is currently being shot in Freehold, New Jersey, and a cute picture of the trio has been circulating online. In the photo, the actors are seen bundled up in jackets, sharing a warm side hug against a snowy backdrop.
Deliver Me from Nowhere is based on the 2023 biography by Warren Zanes and will focus on the young Bruce Springsteen as he works on his 1982 album Nebraska. The film is written and directed by Scott Cooper.
Jeremy Allen White, known for his role in The Bear, signed on for the project in March, and after winning a Golden Globe, he shared his excitement about being part of the film. In an interview with People magazine, White expressed how grateful he was for Springsteen’s support throughout the process. “It’s been such an extra joy knowing we have his support, as well as his manager Jon Landau’s, who plays a key role in the film,” he said.
In October 2024, Springsteen visited the set, and he and White shared a heartfelt hug, chatting and laughing together. Deliver Me from Nowhere is set to be released in theaters in 2025.
