The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau had passed comments on the ongoing farmers protest in Delhi to which the Indian Government has responded by saying that this interference in the internal affairs of the country by Canada is unacceptable and it will damage the relations between the two nations. Justin Trudeau in his speech had said that “Canada will always be there to defend the rights of peaceful protests.” The Ministry of External Affairs has said that this speech has encouraged violent activities in the region.
