Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau calls PM Modi for supply of vaccines

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called PM Narendra Modi through telephone for COVID-19 vaccine supplies and to acknowledge the work of the PM in supplying vaccines to other countries.

They also spoke about climate change and about global economic recovery after the pandemic is over. Modi tweeted about the phone call and said, “Was happy to recieve a call from my friend @JustinTrudeau. Assured him that India would do its best to facilitate supplies of COVID-19 vaccines sought by Canada. We also agreed to continue collaborating on other important issues like Climate and the global economic recovery.”

So far India has sent out vaccines to it’s neighbouring countries and to the Dominican Republic, Cambodia and Saudi Arabia.
