Cardi B is cleared in battery case after throwing microphone at fan during a performance in Las Vegas

Cardi B was not charged by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for throwing a microphone at a fan.

“We appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter,” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff, and Richard Schonfeld, quoted to TMZ Thursday. They added, “On behalf of Cardi, there will be NO charges against Cardi.”

On Thursday, the “WAP” rapper shared the news on Twitter, tweeting a photo of two Jewish men strolling in the street, apparently referring to her Jewish lawyers. “Remember …..,” she wrote.

Fans responded with lyrics from her 2018 single “Bickenhead,” in which she rapped, “Lawyer is a Jew he gon’ chew up all the charges.”

The investigation stems from a last-week conflict at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas, where Cardi, 30, was performing.

According to TMZ, the woman who got hit by the microphone reported the incident to the Las Vegas Metro PD and she was not the one who tossed the drink. She was hit by mistake since the real culprit was just next to her.

Cardi’s thrown microphone is currently up for sale on eBay for charity by Scott Fisher, whose company provided audio support for the show.
