Patna Police has registered a case against RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and 18 of his party members for organising a sit in protest on December 05 at Gandhi Maidan. The protest was organised to show RJD’s support towards the farmer’s protest going on at Delhi border against new laws. The FIR has been registered under sections 188, 145, 269, and 279 of the Indian Penal Code and the Epidemic Diseases Act. The protesters were warned against the gathering as it wasn’t accordance to the COVID-19 gathering guidelines.
