Allegri prioritizes the signing of Casemiro for his new era at Juventus. However, Real Madrid have no intention of depriving themselves of the star of their midfield, who moreover still has two years left on his contract at 9 million net per season.
If Juventus are unable to get the Brazilian, Allegri has indicated that he wants a similar player of Casemiro’s calibre signed. A fully accepted indication, confirming that the coach will have a heavier voice on the market than in the past, and that has led Juventus to return strongly to what had been the last goal of the last market: Manuel Locatelli. Locatelli has had an excellent season at Sassuolo but would cost around £40 million.

Casemiro was formed at São Paulo, where he scored 11 goals in 112 official games, he moved to Real Madrid in 2013, and also spent a season on loan at Porto. He was part of the Real Madrid squad that won four Champions League titles in five seasons, from 2013–14 to 2017–18. In total, he has won 14 major trophies at Real Madrid, including four UEFA Champions League, two La Liga, a Copa del Rey and three FIFA Club World Cup trophies.
Real Madrid had a disappointing 2020/21 campaign as they dropped out of the Champions League race in the quarter-finals and also lost the La Liga title to arch city rivals Atletico Madrid.
