It is being revealed that the cost of vaccination of 3 crore front-line workers will be borne by PM Care Funds. In the first phase of the vaccination drive healthcare & front-line workers will be vaccinated and in the second phase, people above the age of 50 yrs and those with co-morbid conditions will be vaccinated irrespective of the age factor. The cost of vaccination in the Phase I will not be borne by State government but by the Central government. The distribution process will began from Jan 11.
