The Malayalam film Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is performing well at the box office. After a Rs. 3.75 crore opening, the sports action comedy drama fell to Rs. 2.20 crore on Day 2, representing a 40% loss. It also saw a subdued increase, collecting Rs. 2.50 crore on Day 3. According to estimates, the film’s box office increased by Rs. 2.75 crore on Day 4 (Sunday).
This brings the extended opening weekend’s cume to Rs. 10.95 crore in its four-day theatrical run. Based on recent patterns, Chatha Pacha is expected to rise again during the Republic Day vacation on Monday. If it manages to make a significant jump, it will boost its 5-day cume to roughly Rs. 13.50-14.50 crore in Kerala. Though these results are acceptable, a stronger performance was expected given the outstanding first day.
Chatha Pacha, starring Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in prominent parts, as well as an ensemble cast that includes Siddique, Milan Mathew, Lakshmi Menon, and others in supporting roles, received overwhelmingly excellent feedback from the public. If the film continues to gather traction on weekdays, it will have earned a respectable sum by the conclusion of its first week.
