DC Movies were about to release their new films, but due to the pandemic, there has been an abrupt delay, and they have announced a new release date. These are some of the upcoming movies that will be out in 2021 and 2022, assuming no further delays.

The Batman
The Batman was supposed to be released on June 25th, 2021 in both the UK and the US, but due to Warner Bros.’ coronavirus delays, it has been postponed back to March 4th, 2022. Robert Pattinson’s Batman is taking us to a revamped version of the Caped Crusader. The role of Detective James Gordon will be played by Jeffrey Wright. Selena Kyle/Catwoman will be played by Zo Kravitz.

The Suicide Squad
Another DC movie released in 2021 will be The Suicide Squad. This movie is set to be released on August 6, 2021. This will be an independent sequel to 2016’s Suicide Squad, directed by James Gunn. Idris Elba, Margot Robbie, John Cena, and Joel Kinnaman are playing major roles in the film.

Black Adam
The film Black Adam was supposed to be released in 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed down production. The studio had to briefly exclude the blockbuster from their list of potential DC films, however in March 2021, a new release date was released, and audiences can now look forward to seeing the Dwayne Johnson film on July 29, 2022. Black Adam is one of the most well-known super-villains in the DC universe, and he is Shazam’s main adversary and old enemy previously known as Captain Marvel. The film will begin centuries ago, with the protagonist working as a slave in an ancient country named Kahndaq, to investigate the character’s roots.

DC Super Pets
Super Pets is a new 3D computer-animated adventure action comedy film by Warner Animation Group and DC Films, which will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is partially based on DC Comics’ The Legion of Super-Pets. Also, it is Warner Bros.’ first computer-generated film adaptation. Jared Stern and Sam Levine wrote and directed the film. This upcoming DC movie is scheduled to be released on May 2022.

Aquaman 2
Warner Bros. is working fast to make Aquaman 2 a possibility, pencilling in a release date of Dec. 16, 2022, on their timeline. ‘Aquaman 2’ is a sequel to the 2018 film ‘Aquaman.’ James Wan directed the film, which stars Amber Heard, Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, and Nicole Kidman.

The Flash is a feature film focused on the comic book superhero. Andy Muschietti is the director. Gardner Fox and Christina Hodson are the writers. Ben Affleck, Ezra Miller, and Michael Keaton are the stars in the upcoming DC movie. The film will be released on November 4, 2022.
